New Airport coming…
The new Metropolitan Airport in Orotina Costa Rican ceases to be a mirage, and start today to become a hopeful reality. The President signed the contract to take over in the next 12 months, the basic design, site studies and master one of the most modern airports in Central America plan. $ 1.5 million will be used to complete these studies by Mott MacDonald Ltd, a company of global experience in airports in London , Hong Kong , Singapore and Turkey.
This new airport will be a big improvement for Costa Rica tourism activity and travellers who love to visit other destinations. They haven’t mentioned what will happen with the Juan Santa Maria after having this new airport.
The population of Orotina has been waiting for this airport for many years and now, it could become a reality.
